New Fiat Grande Panda Ready To Roll
The Fiat Grande Panda debuts with electric and hybrid powertrains, taking on the B-segment where FIAT has been a leader for decades. As the first model of FIAT’s new global family, it embodies Italian design, compactness, inclusivity, and sustainability. Designed at the Centro Stile in Turin, the Grande Panda features clean lines, a structured appearance, and a wedge-shaped design, emphasizing strength and character. Built on Stellantis' "Smart Car Platform," it is flexible and versatile, catering to diverse global markets.
Inspired by the 80s Panda, the Grande Panda maintains a compact size at 3.99 meters long, 1.57 meters high, and 1.76 meters wide, offering comfort for five people. The exterior showcases prominent wheel arches, 3D-branded "PANDA" lettering, and PXL LED lamps reminiscent of 80s video games. Seven vibrant colors—Limone Yellow, Luna Bronze, Acqua Azure, Lago Blue, Passione Red, Cinema Black, and Gelato White—align with FIAT’s "No Grey" initiative.
Inside, the Grande Panda maximises space with smart storage, including a 13-litre compartment in the dashboard. The boot offers 361 litres of capacity in the electric version. Cheerful interior accents include yellow details on the infotainment area, dashboard, and stitching, complemented by the Blu Tasmania theme. A 10” digital cluster and 10.25” touchscreen, inspired by Lingotto’s track, enhance the driving experience.

The electric Grande Panda features a 44 kWh battery and an 83 kW e-motor, providing 320 km of range (WLTP). It reaches a top speed of 132 km/h, with a 0-50 km/h acceleration in 4.2 seconds. Charging options include a 7 kW retractable cable, 11 kW rear charging port, and a 100 kW DC fast charger, completing a 20-80% charge in 27 minutes. The hybrid version has a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder turbo engine (100 HP) paired with a 48V Li-ion battery and a 6-speed electric dual-clutch transmission. The hybrid system enables e-launch, e-creeping, and e-parking, enhancing efficiency and reducing emissions (123g CO2 pre-homologation).
Committed to sustainability, FIAT incorporates recycled materials into the Grande Panda, using 140 beverage cartons per vehicle. The La Prima version features "BAMBOX Bamboo Fiber Tex®," an eco-friendly textile made from bamboo fibers for dashboard wrapping. The Grande Panda offers two configurations: the top-tier La Prima and the socially driven (Grande Panda), which supports global health initiatives through FIAT’s partnership with (RED). The entry-level POP trim includes ADAS, a 10” cluster, manual air conditioning, and a smartphone station. The Icon trim adds a 10.25” infotainment system, LED headlights, and optional tech and style packs. The flagship La Prima stands out with 17” alloy wheels, high-quality fabrics, and premium features.
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) ensure a safe drive, including Parking Assistance, Cruise Control, Speed Limiter, Active Safety Brake, and Lane Keeping Assist. The vehicle also features connected services such as SOS Help Call, Vehicle Finder, and Connected Navigation.
Set to arrive in Ireland from April, the electric version launches first, followed by the hybrid. Full specifications and pricing will be announced closer to release.
