Fully Electric Volvo EX30 Review
We've been driving the Volvo EX30 which is their smallest SUV. It's also fully electric with a range of up to 478km. Prices for the EX30 start at €38,596. This version has a 51kWh battery and can take you up to 337km on a single charge, however you can upgrade to the larger 69kWh battery should you want more performance or a longer range. Volvo expects the EX30 to perform quite well in the Irish market.
The boot isn't as big as some other rivals in the segment, however it's very functional and of course the seats fold down.
Likewise, space in the rear is limited, however there's plenty of room for a two child seats.
Up front is where the EX30 comes into its own. It's very spacious, modern and comfortable. There's a single infotainment screen in the middle which controls just about everything in the car including the mirrors, the climate control and it's even where your speedo is located. Overall it's a great EV, which we found quite true to its range!
