Well, the date has come and gone and I lived to tell the tale! Flying High for Simon was a great success. Due to unforeseen circumstances Donna was unable to take part in the jump in the end so Mel did it solo! All the gang from DoneDeal travelled down to Waterford to cheer on, so a great day out was had by all. Donna is now just dying to get her teeth into the next Charity Event so watch this space….Just click here if you are interested in finding out more details on doing a Tandem Skydive. Jumping out of a plane at 10,000 feet and reaching speeds of up to 120mph may not be for everyone but all I can say is WOW.

I would like to give a big shout out to Dave at the Tandem Skydive Club and thank him for taking care of me on the day.

With the summer coming in, John couldn’t resist getting back on the road on 2 wheels.  John hasn’t owned a motorbike in 10 years but working in DoneDeal and seeing the great selection of bikes that are advertised on our site proved to be a little too tempting for him!!

After trailing DoneDeal he found this GEM of a bike,  a Honda CB 1000 (The big one!) and is now officially back in the biking world! So watch out roads……John’s back!!

Part of the initiation process when you come to work at DoneDeal is to go out and buy some cool toy for the office (yeah ok, we are a bunch of kids really!).  As Mel is our newest DoneDealer, she was hunted out of the office to trail the town of Wexford for the perfect toy.  And boy did she do a good job!

Friday evening was spent in a racing competition with our new Scalectrix with Fred getting very competitive indeed!  Great choice there Mel!  Check out our facebook page to see the video of the “kids” at play!

Elvis & the gang

Last Wednesday we did an event together with the Wexford Chamber of Commerce.

We got help from the brilliant people in Bui Bolg, to set the tone for the event. They sent Elvis and two beauty queens.

Of course we could not miss the opportunity to get a photo with The King.

You may notice that Declan is not in the photo, he was busy chatting to the two beauty queens.

Office Mugs

Emer has arranged brand new mugs for the office. They are really cool, she even put our names on them, to make sure no-one takes the wrong mug.

Now you cannot get away with leaving your unwashed mug in the kitchen any more, it is pretty obvious whose mug it is.
