We are delighted to announce that our Android App has finally landed and is ready for a spin! The DoneDeal Android App gives you a customised experience for all Android phones where DoneDealers can keep up to date with the latest deals while on the go!

It was important to us that we delivered an app that had lots of features, and at the same really easy to use so that all you DoneDealers would find it just as good as the website. We hope we have achieved that.

We’ve made it even faster for you to upload your photos, making it easier than ever to place an add!

Recently we added the ability to upload multiple photos at once –  now our new photo uploader automatically resizes your photos so they upload much faster.

It’s very easy to use, in fact it’s the same from your point of view other than it’s much quicker.

For the techies out there… our photo uploader is flash based requiring your browser to have Flash Player 10 or above.

We’ve been busy as usual working on new ways to keep our DoneDealers happy.

So to make sure DoneDealers can see what’s going on all over our DoneDeal community, we’ve added cool new feeds on our blog!

You can quickly and easily like our contact us on our facebook page, see what’s happening and chat to us on twitter AND see who’s DoneDeal ads are getting the most recommendations!

Now you can add all your photos and your video in one easy step. Our new multiple photo uploader allows you to select up to 10 photos and a video, then upload them all with a single click.

By simply clicking the “Add Files…” button,  a window opens prompting you to select your photos or video. Once you have found the photos you want to upload, select them by holding down the ctrl button (cmd on Mac) and clicking on them. When your done click the ok button to begin the upload.

Individual progress bars will keep you informed of the upload progress of each photo, and when complete you can delete and rotate the photos, or change your cover photo.

For the techie bit… our photo uploader is flash based requiring your browser to have Flash Player 9.0.24 or above.
