In short, DoneDeal is one of Ireland’s fastest growing web sites, and we need more great people to keep growing at this speed. There will be lots of learning, lots of growing, and lots of fun.

What you will be doing:

Backend development for the DoneDeal web site
Developing new features that are used by millions of Irish people every month
Working with other like minded developers using SCRUM
Keeping abreast of new technologies
Whatever else takes your fancy

What we need from YOU:

You MUST be one of Ireland’s best Java developers
You MUST have at least 3+ years real world experience
A degree in Computer science or relevant qualification
Have lots of Java, JSP & HTML experience
Struts or Spring & Hibernate experience
Appreciate of building for scale and resilience
Have used a Version Control system like SVN or GIT
Self-starter, analytical mindset, multi-tasker
You MUST be a really friendly, fun, and happy person

And these points earn you extra cred:

Web stuff: JavaScript, JQuery, CSS
Development techniques: SCRUM, Test driven development
