I’m Elaine and I’m from New Ross town in Co Wexford, just down the N25 from the DoneDeal HQ.

I’ve worked for 13 years as a journalist and editor, working on a variety of magazines, newspapers and online publications. I’m delighted to be able to share interesting information and stories with DoneDealers through the Articles section on DoneDeal. I also edit the rescue centre articles that are published on the blog.

Interests

Outside of work my big interest is photography and, for me, there’s nothing better than the combination of a camera and a trip abroad or short break in Ireland.

What I do

I’m the resident word nerd. I come up with ideas for and write articles that we think will be of interest to readers and of use to them to when using DoneDeal. My work involves keeping up to date with current affairs and ads on DoneDeal, researching topics, interviewing people for articles and, of course, writing. When I’m not writing articles for DoneDeal, I’m kept busy on other projects at Web Content Partners.
