Once again, DoneDealers have been doing more than their bit for Charities. This month we were all about Childrens Charities and you guys did absolutely fantastic.

We managed to raise €30,609.69 for three very worthy charities with each charity receiving a massive €10,203.23. The charities have one purpose, to help children that are enduring a difficult childhood due to illness.

Needles to say that when all three charities visited us here in Wexford they were absolutely over the moon with this contribution.

When Caroline visited, she told us about how her charity, the Aoife & Aine Memorial Fund, will use this donation to fund an A&E paediatric room in Wexford General.  Due to this amazing contribution, the fund is just €1,000 away from their target amount to cover the cost required for this badly needed service for sick children here in Wexford and the South-East.

Ciara from Barretstown told us how they have to raise just under 5 million euro every year to bring children and families to camp that have been affected by childhood cancer and other serious illnesses. Each camper that comes to Barretstown does so free of charge and last year Barretstown brought a record number of 1,945 children and family members to camp. With this donation , Barretstown can make hugely positive impact in the lives of even more children. Brilliant!

And finally, Anne from Temple Street Children’s University Hospital,  told us that they cater for over 130,000 children each year (yes, that’s each year). And now with this donation they can purchase an ECG machine for their cardiology department to ensure all their little patients have the best possible care.
