Keeping Women and Children Safe

For our August Charity Month, we’ll be giving 10% of the cost of EVERY new ad placed on our site to Women’s Aid  to assist in the raising of much needed funds.

For almost 40 years Women’s Aid has been helping women and children who are suffering from domestic violence.  They have helped thousands of women and their children to live safer, happier lives, free from abuse.

Just one of the great things they do is run the National Freephone Helpline 1800 341 900 (10am to 10pm, 7 days) which provides free, confidential support, understanding and information to women experiencing emotional, physical, sexual, and financial abuse by a husband, partner or boyfriend.

One in five women in Ireland is affected by domestic violence and in 2011 Women’s Aid answered over 11,000 calls from women living in fear in their own homes!
