After chatting to a friend of mine about the wonderful event “Rev up 4 DSI” I knew that DoneDeal had to donate a charity month to the amazing work of Down Syndrome Ireland. And thankfully, this month is it!

We will be giving 30c from EVERY NEW AD placed on our site during the month of April to Down Syndrome Ireland to help with their hard work.

Down Syndrome Ireland is dedicated to being the primary source of information and support to people with Down syndrome, their families and the professional community, working towards an improved quality of life for our members along with a respect and acceptance of people with Down syndrome as valued members of Irish society.

Help us to help Down Syndrome Ireland by decluttering the house or shed or whatever and spreading to word to get as many ads as possible placed on DoneDeal this month!

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our Kevin has become a Dad again! He and his wife Aideen welcomed baby Isaac on Sunday the 18th of March.

Isaac weighed in at 9lb 1oz and Mum, Dad, big brother Joshua & Baby Isaac are all doing really well.

Congratulations Kevin and Aideen and a huge welcome to Isaac from all of us here at DoneDeal!

We’re getting all excited about the festival season growing closer.  To get right in the thick of the festival spirit, this year we are sponsoring the DoneDeal Stage at Vantastival.

Vantastival is a family-friendly music festival which takes place over the May Bank Holiday Weekend 4th-6th May. Three stages of live music and entertainment host up to 70 acts over the course of the weekend, while a range of activities focusing on the campervan lifestyle bring an extra dimension to the only festival of its kind in Ireland.

Other attractions include gourmet food stalls, festival traders, scheduled kids’ activities, documentary cinema, art, craft and theatre, ensuring that Vantastival has something for everyone, with or without a campervan!

I’ll be there in the DoneDeal Camper with DoneDeal goodies to give out to anyone that pops over to say hello!
