The DoneDeal Android App has landed!
We are delighted to announce that our Android App has finally landed and is ready for a spin! The DoneDeal Android App gives you a customised experience for all Android phones where DoneDealers can keep up to date with the latest deals while on the go!
It was important to us that we delivered an app that had lots of features, and at the same really easy to use so that all you DoneDealers would find it just as good as the website. We hope we have achieved that.
You can search all sections, refine your search by location, price and all the rest. If there is something you would really like to see in the next version of the App, please let us know by sending feedback or leaving a comment below.

Hi Darragh. Our site is for customers in Ireland as we don’t recommend that our customers ship outside of Ireland. For that reason, we did limit the downloading of the app to customers in Europe.

No yet Tom. We’ve recently released our Android app and have an exciting new update coming out in the next few days for our iPhone app. But we will certainly be looking at other possible mobile platforms and working towards them, so keep an eye here on our blog for future updates.
Are you bringing out an iPad app? iPhone app doesn’t work so well on iPad.
Hi Shane, we are going actually develop a mobile platform that will cover the iPad. However, the actually site through safari works extremely well so it might be worth viewing the site through safari on the iPad rather than the app. You could set up a short cut directly from your home screen by clicking on the icon directly to the left of the URL bar when on our site on your iPad. Hope this helps.
Thanks for that Donna. One final constructive criticism I would like to mention for you to consider in any updates to the iPhone App. Unlike on the website you can only filter by County and not province. As I live within about 40 miles of 5 or 6 counties, selecting my own county is a bit restrictive and province would be much more useful.
