I am thankful for many things, but one which sticks out is to the coaches and club members at the Naas Panthers Gymnastics Club. They are all fantastic athletes, but welcomed me in as an absolute beginner when a PE professional development course focussing on gymnastics was not available from any education centre. Not only have they helped me develop my understanding of and skills of gymnastics, but have enabled me to pass this on to others. They are a model of inclusion, both in the ways that they include others in their sport, and develop individual routines to optimise the performance of each individual, but also in the positive attitude that they possess. Everyone is valued and everyone is helped to do their best.

I am blessed to have all my senses within me; I can see each day, land, sea & new skies. I can smell new grasses growing, fresh uncongested air & life around us changing from musk to mist.I can feel within me complicated & distressing fears, soothed by the realism that I can reach out & touch the loving, gracious hands of our nearest & not just hear, but acknowledge, that each day has so much in store for us. We don’t need miracles, but harmonious courage & deep love & strength, to know every thing & every one, is going to be just fine. Just breath, relax, acknowledge, wonder, & move on. No one can touch that peace in any one.
I my thankful for my Mum, Dad, brothers, friends and health and for being lucky enough to have all.
