October is charity month on DoneDeal. For each ad placed during October we will give 30 cent to the Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland (CFAI). This donation will help them continue their excellent work, in supporting those living with cystic fibrosis and providing services for them and their families all over Ireland.

Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is Ireland’s most common genetically inherited disease, that primarily affects the lungs and the digestive system. Ireland has the highest incidence of Cystic Fibrosis in the world with almost 7 in every 10,000 people with the disease. The incidence of Cystic Fibrosis in Ireland is almost 3 times the average rate in other EU countries and the United States.

The Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland is a voluntary organisation that was set up by parents in 1963 to improve the treatment and facilities for people with Cystic Fibrosis in Ireland.

So come on DoneDealer’s, keep placing those ads and let’s raise some much needed funds for The Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland

Agnes handing over the €26,155.80 cheque to Liz Burke from the Irish Cancer Society

DoneDeal had another very successful charity month in August when we donated 30 cent out of each ad placed on our site to the Irish Cancer Society, which amounted to an amazing €26,155.80!!!!!

The Irish Cancer Society is the national charity for cancer care in Ireland and totally relies on voluntary contributions to fund their programmes of care, education and research. The Irish Cancer Society’s services are free and confidential.

A big thank you to all DoneDealer’s who placed ads during the Irish Cancer Society Month, allowing us to give this big donation on your behalf!
