Say hello to Sam & Max

Sam & Max

Sam & Max

We have two new starters in DoneDeal this week. Sam & Max are two labrador-ish rescue dogs from Wexford SPCA, and they have just moved in with Geraldine and me.

They started off their first day in DoneDeal by eating the office furniture. Some of us in the office sit on gym-balls (supposed to be good for your back). And of course, the gym ball were great toys, and very chewable (that is my seat you see in front of the dogs).

Have you had any experience with rescue dogs? Please tell us in the comments below.

We haven’t got any experience with rescue dogs, but we have experience with rescue rare bat in our Cambridgeshire site. A Serotine bat was found in the kitchen of a new property ready for sale at the Abberley Woods housing development in Cambridge. The species, which is one of the largest in the country, was looked after by the Cambridge Bat Group who fed him meal worms to boost his weight from 18kg to 20kg. Developer McGarrell Reilly have built nearby bat roosts to encourage the winged mammals.

Our family got a Labrador X Spaniel puppy 9 weeks old from the rescue home in Meath . We called her ” Magic ” as she was long coated and black .She grew into a beautiful friendly , faithful dog and became a member of our family , along with our other dog ” Judy ” a Labrador ……..Last year after having her for almost fourteen years , and giving us all her love and affection , she departed to the ” Great Dogs Home ” in the sky ……We all miss her so much , even though we have now got ” A retired Guide Dog ” …………….” If dog’s prayers were answered , bones would fall from the sky . ” ( proverb )
