From the 21st August we will have an ad on Setanta Sports to help promote our site.  It will be played during the first English Premier League match, Arsenal v. Blackpool but you can get to see it here first.

The ad will run  for the entire premiership season as well as the Champions League and Europa League on Setanta.  Let us know what you think.

One of our DoneDealers (my hubby) took a trip down memory lane by restoring this old RD250LC.  In our hairy hippy days his favourite bike of all time was the RD350LC so by trawling the site he picked up a sorry old 250cc wreck and gave it some TLC picking up bits and pieces through DoneDeal ads to bring this bike to its former glory.  Even the sound of this bike is so distinctive it would bring you back to the 80’s when Kenny Roberts and Barry Sheene reigned supreme on the bike racing circuits and Joey Dunlop was king of the road.  Hope you like it.

“Hi Ho, Hi Ho, its off to the beach we go!!” Thanks a million to everyone who let us know which was their favourite beach.  The winner of our competition is Nora from Kerry and here she is with her beach kit ready for a day out.  The beach she voted as her favourite is Ballybunion which is in the beautiful County of Kerry.

Sam & Max

We have two new starters in DoneDeal this week. Sam & Max are two labrador-ish rescue dogs from Wexford SPCA, and they have just moved in with Geraldine and me.

They started off their first day in DoneDeal by eating the office furniture. Some of us in the office sit on gym-balls (supposed to be good for your back). And of course, the gym ball were great toys, and very chewable (that is my seat you see in front of the dogs).

I had a very interesting lunch today.  The Leinster Rugby team came to our local Wexford Wanderers club for a visit, a training session and to say hello to all their supporters who turned out to see them.

The boys were looking in top form as they trained so I think we can expect some big things from them……and this coming from a true blood Munster woman says a lot!

My son Luke, a next generation DoneDealer, was thrilled to meet his idol Gordan D’Arcy.  Gordan is a former player for Wexford Wanderers, the team Luke plays for. All the kids (and big kids!) were delighted to meet the team, get photos taken and their autographs.  Thanks to all the Leinster team for a great afternoon!
