August 5th is International Beer Day.  We want to celebrate by giving away an International Beer Day Goody Box which includes beer bottle drinking goblets, beer shampoo, a beer carrying belt, a beer hat, a cool dart board and lots of drinkable and edible goodies to one of our lovely newsletter readers.  We also have one hundred exclusive DoneDeal.ie bottle openers for the runners up.

We had another very successful month raising money for charity. For the month of June, DoneDeal.ie users raised a grand total of €15,349.80 for the Niall Mellon Township Trust. 30 cent of each ad placed went directly to the trust. So a big thank you too all!

Well, the date has come and gone and I lived to tell the tale! Flying High for Simon was a great success. Due to unforeseen circumstances Donna was unable to take part in the jump in the end so Mel did it solo! All the gang from DoneDeal travelled down to Waterford to cheer on, so a great day out was had by all. Donna is now just dying to get her teeth into the next Charity Event so watch this space….Just click here if you are interested in finding out more details on doing a Tandem Skydive. Jumping out of a plane at 10,000 feet and reaching speeds of up to 120mph may not be for everyone but all I can say is WOW.

Kevin is the latest addition to the DoneDeal family.  We would like you to join us in making him feel at home.  Kevin will be working alongside Declan on the web development side of the site.

Kevin lives in Wexford with his wife and little boy, Joshua.  He is originally from Dublin but dont hold that against him!!  He loves music and plays the keyboards when he can.  His favourite band is XTC and he has been known to watch Lord of the Rings on more than one occasion.
