It’s getting to be a busy little hive here at the DoneDeal offices. The latest member of the DoneDeal team joined us this week.
John will take on the very important role of Chief Operating Officer around here, ensuring that we all stay on our toes and you guys get the very best out of the website!
John is from Bridgetown in Wexford and apparently is a huge fan of Tottenham Hotspurs for some strange reason that only he knows! But we won’t hold that against him.

I could not find a contact number to contact company directly. Just to let ye know that there is a company that trade under http://www.firsale.ie that are now texting donedeals customers as soon as new ad is placed trying to poach your customers. Might be worth trying to put a stop to this. This happened with autotrader (torment calls and messages) and in my opinion had a severe advertising effect with autotrader ireland. Regards Joseph
Sorry to hear that you were getting unwanted calls. We will contact them to inform them that it is illegal to use phone numbers from our website for anything that is not immediately related to the ad, as per our terms and conditions.
Our policy is that phone numbers must be provided as it adds a lot of trust with both the buyer and seller. Our experience also shows that items sell much quicker when a phone number is provided.

maybe ye could try having a bargain car section and a modified ,classic or swap pages or a price and year category ye have something like that in relation to the price and year it woulb be easier than going through page after page trying to find what your looking for,just have car category section,simplify,
price,make,model etc
anyway im on donedeal everyday and its a great site

Would it not be a good idea to have a section called reduced stuff. This would be ideal for people who cant seem to sell their stuff and are willing to reduce them even lower in price. I have coffee tables and other stuff that has not sold, and I think people would be keen to look in that secion if they thought they were getting a bargain.
