April – MS Ireland Month

357-2April is MS Ireland month on DoneDeal. For each ad placed we give 30 cent to The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Ireland to help them to improve the lives of those affected.  Ireland has one of the highest prevalence rates of MS in the world.

We met up with Cathryn O’Leary, the Senior Fundraising Executive who lives in Ferns, Co. Wexford and is based in MS Ireland’s head office in Dublin.

MS Ireland has 10 regional professionally staffed offices providing casework, family support, sessional therapies, living with MS programmes, workshops and activities.  They have 41 voluntary branches nationwide providing financial welfare, social and befriending programmes.  There is a confidential helpline providing professional counselling and information.  They also fund research into the condition.

With your help, we want raise funds for these vital services.  You can click here to read more about “What is MS?”

MS Ireland relies heavily on volunteer fundraising to be able to continue to deliver its support services and resources.  They also have some upcoming fundraising events.  You can read more about these in their information here – “Take a Challenge

what a fantastic idea for MS Ireland. We have helped to fundraise for them in the past.

We are involved with TLC for Cystic Fibrosis, to build 2 units in the Regional Hospital in Limerick.
I was just wondering if perhaps I could send on the details to donedeal in the hope that you would consider it as a monthly charity.
    many thanks

      Hi Sandra,
Your ad is still on our site. However you did not include Dachshund in the title or text of the ad so your ad did not appear in our Dachshund list. I have now updated your ad to include Dachshund.
