April is MS Ireland month on DoneDeal. For each ad placed we give 30 cent to The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Ireland to help them to improve the lives of those affected.  Ireland has one of the highest prevalence rates of MS in the world.

We met up with Cathryn O’Leary, the Senior Fundraising Executive who lives in Ferns, Co. Wexford and is based in MS Ireland’s head office in Dublin.

MS Ireland has 10 regional professionally staffed offices providing casework, family support, sessional therapies, living with MS programmes, workshops and activities.  They have 41 voluntary branches nationwide providing financial welfare, social and befriending programmes.  There is a confidential helpline providing professional counselling and information.  They also fund research into the condition.

As tradition holds, we watched the Paddy’s day parade in Wexford yesterday.

Lots of great local clubs that show off their talent. A lot of kids and marching bands.

Suddenly we spot an unexpected face. Louie, from our marketing company Angel Marketing, was in the parade, dressed up as a milkmaid. Angel do a lot of work with Wexford Creamery, and this was their entry.

Now the question is, where is Paula? Is she in the Cow outfit?

It’s getting to be a busy little hive here at the DoneDeal offices.  The latest member of the DoneDeal team joined us this week.

John will take on the very important role of Chief Operating Officer around here, ensuring that we all stay on our toes and you guys get the very best out of the website!

John is from Bridgetown in Wexford and apparently is a huge fan of Tottenham Hotspurs for some strange reason that only he knows!  But we won’t hold that against him.
