Digital entrepreneur scoops Internet Marketer Award for 2009 – DoneDeal.ie breaks through 1.5 million barrier for website visits per month!

Geraldine Karlsson, co-founder and marketing director at DoneDeal.ie, Ireland’s fastest growing online classified adverts website, has won the Internet Marketer of the Year Award at the annual Irish Internet Association Net Visionary Awards.  The 2009 event was attended by over 320 guests celebrating the best in business online throughout Ireland.

Netvisionary Award

Yippeeeee! Geraldine won the Netvisionary Internet Marketer award yesterday evening.

And the MC, Gareth Dunlop from Tibus, also gave Geraldine the “best walk to the stage in high heels”-award.

Thanks a lot to everyone who voted for us! Go Geraldine!

And thanks a lot to the great guys at DigitalWorx & Electric Media who surprised us with a bottle of bubbly grape juice. It went down well!

At the AIM Awards

Last Thursday DoneDeal was up for the All Ireland Marketing Awards. Of course we had to go up for the gala evening, just in case we would actually win.

In the end the award went to Mash Direct. We are big fans of their tasty mash, so it feels alright to lose out to such a great bunch of people.

Office party

A little while ago we passed 20,000 ads on DoneDeal. We thought that deserved a little celebration with a nice bottle of champers.

The office girls enjoyed the fruit, as you can see!

A big thank you to Brie, Geraldine’s sister, who had sent us the bottle of bubbly fermented grape juice.
