Servers at Hosting365

January was mad busy on DoneDeal.ie, over 740,000 people visited the site.

We are of course delighted with this, but unfortunately it means the web site has run a bit slow the last few weeks.

Therefore we moved the web site to a new server this morning, at 6:45am. The server is provided by Hosting365.

In techie-language the web site is now running on a IBM & HP Cloud server, with a separate SAN (storage area network). In plain english the web site is now running on a “kick-ass-computer, with go-faster-stripes”…
