Our focus here at DoneDeal this week has to be Fred’s upcoming Birthday.  Fred turns another year older on Tuesday 3rd of March.  He is lucky enough to share his birthday with my gorgeous son Luke.  Luke of course is not at all impressed at the thoughts of sharing his 7th birthday with anyone but since Fred shares his love of all things Star Wars, he said he’ll allow it.

So now what are we supposed to get Fred for his birthday??  This is the question that has been wrecking my brain all week and will continue to do so for the whole weekend I bet.  Well since he’s been working so hard on DoneDeal lately and we can’t seem to drag him away from the computer I thought it might be a nice idea for Fred to see loads of Happy Birthdays from all you guys!  Leave a birthday message below for the REALLY REALLY REALLY OLD Fred!!!

All Ireland Marketing Awards

The DoneDeal team were thrilled to find out today that we have been shortlisted for the All Ireland Marketing Awards, under the category of Small Business.

The winners will be announced on 14th May so fingers crossed!

Well it has been a very interesting week indeed here at the DoneDeal office.  Geraldine has just finished a 10 day detox and is fighting fit now at the other end of it.  I am still in the middle of the same detox (Ger tricked me into thinking it was a good idea!) and I’m due to finish on Thursday 19th feb.

So do you want to know how bad it is?? Well I’ll tell you, its not exactly pleasant!  You eat NOTHING for ten days and you drink that strange looking stuff in the picture as well as some other extremely healthy stuff.

While the girls are suffering through their detox in the name of good health, Fred has decided he’d much rather stick to his strict diet of latte’s and the (TO DIE FOR) chocolate brownies from Cafe D’Lush@ Wexford Art centre.

Well, us girls think its time Fred joined our detox brigade.  Unfortunately Fred’s not as keen on the idea as we are.  Leave Fred a comment below if you think he should join the girls on our detox or not.
